図書館前のＥＬＩの生徒ＵＨＨの新しい校舎

ハワイ州立大学ヒロ校English Language InstituteＥＬＩへようこそ！

ＥＬＩは、ハワイ州立大学ヒロ校（ＵＨＨ）の学部生を目指す皆さんのための、厳格な英語教育準備コースです。適切な資格と経験豊富な先生が、熱心に教えています。

ＥＬＩの生徒はＵＨＨの学生と同じく、学生寮、ブックストア、図書館、コンピュータルーム、食堂、保健室、生徒会、クラブ活動などの利用ができます。

ＥＬＩの生徒は、英語を勉強しながら大学の講義（制限あり）を受講することができます。（サンプルスケジュール参照）

ＵＨＨのＥＬＩへの申請時に他の入学資格を満たしていれば、 ＴＯＥＦＬを提出する必要はありません。学期が始まる前にテストがおこなわれ、テストの結果によってＥＳＬコースだけではなく、ＥＳＬと大学の講義の両方が受講できます。

ＥＬＩを修了した後、ハワイ大学へ学部生として編入することが可能です。

ELI授業内容

  • リラックスしたELIの授業風景授業の成績とproficiency testの結果によってクラスレベルが段階的に上がります。
  • ELIコースの単位は卒業単位には含まれません。
  • ELIコースでは、英語初級者レベルのコースは実施していません。

プレースメントテスト（必須）

英語が母語ではないすべての生徒は、授業登録前に下記のテストを受ける必要があります。授業開始前に、テストの点数により、適切なコースが決定されます。
