欢迎来到夏威夷大学希罗分校的英语中心(ELI)！

ELI为想在夏威夷大学希罗分校攻读学位的学生，提供扎实的学术预备课程。我们热心投入的教师，都有多年且进阶的教学经验。

ELI的学生与其他的UHH学生享有相同的权利，可以进入并使用宿舍、 校园书店、图书馆、电脑室、自助餐厅、医疗服务、学生活动和学校社团。

ELI的学生在学习英语时，也有机会选修有学分的课程。 (见课表范例)

若您符合其他的入学条件，不需要托福分数即可就读UHH 的一般学科－包括ELI。 在课程开始之前，会有一个考试。根据您的考试结果，您可能需要选修「英语作为第二语言」(ESL)课程，或者兼修ESL和学术课程二者。

当您完成所有高級课程并离开ELI后，您可以继续您的主修科目。

ELI 课程

  • ELI students study English in a relaxed atmosphere基于课堂表现与考试 (Proficiency test)结果晋级。
  • ELI 具有正式的学分，但不列入UHH的毕业学分。
  • ELI 不提供初级课程

在注册课程之前，所有非英语人士都要参加下列考试。 UHH的教师们将会检阅您的考试分数，并在后面的学期中提供建议与作业。
