National Geographic's Correspondents Pro
From National Geographic and Glimpse:
If you are a talented storyteller; specialize in writing, photography or video; and will be living or studying abroad in Fall 2008, this is your opportunity! As a Glimpse Correspondent,
you will receive a $600 stipend, a professional editor, and the opportunity to be published in National Geographic Glimpse. The application will be ready in mid-May--register your email address today to be notified when the application goes live! The goal of the program is to identify the best and brightest storytellers, and to give them a mainstream audience for their work. The demands of the program are not extreme, but we do expect our
correspondents program to commit to a professional editorial process.
More details and application procedures can be found here: www.glimpse.org/correspondents
For more information about opportunities to study abroad, please contact the Center for Global Education and Exchange at: 808.933.8810 or email: uhhglobe@hawaii.edu. You can always stop by PB9, Room 6, to talk with a study abroad advisor.
