Coming soon!
Carolina G. C. Lam, Director, Global Education

Greetings! As an alumni of UH Hilo, I am thrilled and honored to be working at my alma mater in the area of international education. I strongly believe that every one should have an opportunity to go abroad – for a summer, semester or even year! Our office will be happy to assist you in finding the right program for you and with applying for scholarships to go abroad. So, check us out!
Todd Shumway, Director, Global Exchange
I love to travel, and, since I can't travel all the time, working with at the Center for Global Education and Exchange is a great job because, in our office, the world comes to us. We have a warm welcoming office for students from all over the world, and we enjoy meeting and helping our exchange students. I have been working as an ESL teacher for more than ten years. My passions are playing soccer, reading, being with my friends and family, and of course...traveling. I look forward to seeing you in beautiful Hilo.
Howie Shih, Program Coordinator

I grew up in Taiwan all my life and I love it there. I graduated from UH Hilo, majoring in Business Administration. I like spending time with my friends whether it be going to the beach or camping. I am open-minded and I like to make a lot of friends who come from different countries. I love laughing and experience new things.
