2018 Pacific States Biennial National Print Exhibition

The Pacific States Biennial National juried print exhibition was established by the Art Department Print Studio at the University of Hawai?i at Hilo in 1982. The [2018 PSBN](https://hilo.hawaii.edu/depts/art/psbn-2018/) expands its call for entries to artists 18 years or older presently residing in North America and US Territories. The juror for the 2018 PSBN is Helen Frederick, a distinguished artist, curator, educator, international projects coordinator, and founder of Pyramid Atlantic. She has served on the boards of local and national alternative arts spaces, national peer-review panels, and fulfilled speaking engagements around the world. 2016 Pacific States Biennial National Print Exhibition

The juror for the 2016 PSBN is Lloyd Menard, a noted printmaker and founder of Frogman's Printmaking Workshop, one of the largest print intensive workshops in North America. The first place PSBN award is a 10-day artist residency at the University of Hawai?i at Hilo. Additional purchase awards will be made. Entry due by August 15, 2016. A two week [printmaking symposium](https://hilo.hawaii.edu/depts/art/psbn-2016/symposium.php) was held in conjunction with the 2016 PSBN exhibition.

2015 SummerAi Hilo exhibition at the Wailoa Center, July 1 - 30

An international juried exhibition "Representational Art in the 21st Century" hosted conjunction with the University of Hawaii Summer Art Institute - Hilo (SAiH 2015) program focus on Drawing. The exhibition welcomes original works on paper in new and traditional media that embody divergent responses to terrain and the figure, reflecting this moment in time.

International works on paper exhibition open to currently enrolled Graduate and Undergraduate students (academic year 2014-2015). Evidence of the hand in original works on paper: drawings, paintings and prints are eligible. No photographs. No Giclee (or other such) reproductions. No 100% digital work.
