Lori (Schuh) Roberts

I married John and finished grad school (MS-Geology) at Western Washington University; my thesis was "Seismic Characterization of the Northern Puget Lowland." I worked in different industries for a few years, and worked from home; then we started an electrical contracting business in 2003. We now have nine employees. We adopted two girls from birth (ages 2 1/2 and 6 months in photo), and that keeps me very busy, but so much fun! We live in Maple Vally, Washington.

I remember my years at UH-Hilo as fun, fun, fun--it felt like family. I learned so much and I wouldn't have had the same opportunities at other schools. Cool volcano! It's the best undergraduate Geology program out there.
